About the course

During this course you'll explore a range of subjects and get back into the swing of studying again.

As well as improving your language and numeracy skills you'll develop your confidence in writing essays and reports, undertaking research, analysing numbers, doing presentations, managing your time and working as part of a team.

Throughout this course you'll be able to use the library, which has a large collection of books and journals, as well as different areas for group work and individual study. There is also plenty of It equipment for use

During this course:

  • You'll be able to work on your Maths and English skills.
  • You'll have the chance to develop your study skills to prepare you for undergraduate study.
  • You can choose up to five subjects to study to prepare for your degree.

You'll take these subjects:

You'll then choose a total of three further subjects from:

  • Biology (double module - counts as two)

* In order to study Physics or Maths at level 3 you MUST already hold GCSE Maths at C or above.

The course is not appropriate for students who wish to study at other universities, or who wish to progress onto specialist degrees such as Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Education (QTS) or programmes which use selection methods such as interviews, portfolios or assessment days.
