Criminology students during an outdoor activity

Our public service diplomas are a practical route into public or community service, such as the police, fire and rescue service, the army, prison or security services, or even a career in law or criminology.

The courses include a core base of projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations to give you a foundation of knowledge and then you can choose specialist units depending on your specific interests.

You’ll take part in a wide range of activities, events and visits during the course, such as police and fire stations, outdoor expeditions, Crown Courts and Royal Courts of Justice.
