Travel and tourism remains a popular career choice with an estimated 1.4 million jobs directly related to tourism activity in the UK alone, accounting for 5% of the total UK employment. The opportunities span a wide variety of areas such as in hotels, travel agencies, theme parks, airlines and other transportation.

The course is practical and hands-on with lots of role play and work placements with the industry. We have great facilities including an on-site airline cabin for training at the Buxton campus.

Hollie studied BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism at Buxton campus.
