IAG and Enrolment
We are looking forward to seeing students back on campus in September (please click here to see your start dates) and we have been working on the enrolment process for 2020 to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students, staff, applicants and their families. Where possible, we’re asking students to enrol online to reduce the number of people we have on our campuses during enrolment.
We will be contacting everyone who has applied for a course at Buxton & Leek College by email with specific information about their enrolment – please look out for further details on the email address that you provided during your application. This also applies for existing students who are progressing on to a new programme at the college.
The email we send you will provide full details of how to enrol and the information that you will need to enrol online. To enrol online you will need access to the internet and a personal computer, laptop/Macbook, Notebook, iPad/Tablet or a smart phone with video calling facilities.
If you are unable to enrol online, please call 0800 074 0099 and select option 1, ‘Enrolment’ to pre-book a time slot to attend on-site. We are trying to reduce the number of ‘walk-in’ appointments on site, so please call ahead if at all possible.
If you have not received your information about online enrolment, please call get in touch by calling 0800 074 0099 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

IAG and Enrolment
Although our dedicated enrollment dates have passed, we are still enrolling students and offer free information, advice and guidance to all. You can either enrol remotely/on-line or make an appointment to meet us. Please contact us now on 0800 074 0099 or email email@example.com to arrange your enrolment, if you haven’t already or if you have any questions.
We are very much looking forward to enrolling you to start your programme at Buxton & Leek College.
Buxton & Leek College will still be providing transport on the designated bus routes for 2020/21. The college is working with our local bus companies to ensure that appropriate risk assessments are in place and we are complying with the latest government guidance for schools and colleges on COVID 19.
Applying For Transport:
We are now asking that students wishing to use the college bus services apply for transport through the enrolment process, so that we can determine who will need a place on a bus to get to college.
You will then be notified through a text message and an email to confirm that we have received your application. You will be able to access the bus service without a pass for the first two weeks and we will issue your bus pass during induction.
The college has a duty of care to ensure that all students and staff are kept safe when using the college buses and therefore we have introduced new safety measures-
- Do not attempt to travel if you are exhibiting any of the Covid-19 symptoms
- Please ensure that you arrive ten minutes before the bus is due and wait safely at the bus stop
- Allow any passengers needing to get off the bus safely before getting on the bus and keep at a safe distance as much as possible
- Remain seated in the designated areas and maintain as much distance as possible from the other passengers
- All students and staff must wear face coverings at all times on the designated college bus routes
- Only get on and off the bus at designated bus stops
In addition all students must comply with the Behaviour Codes for students any breaches may be dealt with through the College Disciplinary Procedure.
