As the current Covid-19 social distancing restrictions require our campus doors to remain closed, we’re bringing BLC to you by moving our Open Days online!
Taking place throughout May, all you’ll need to take part in one of our Digital Open Days is a computer, laptop or mobile device – once you’ve signed up to our event we’ll send you the date and time of our next sessions along with the link for you to join!
Book your place here or by getting in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org. Attendees can find out more about the courses, apprenticeships and opportunities available at the college, as well as speak to tutors and support teams about life at Buxton & Leek College. Our Digital Open Day places are expected to fill up quickly, so booking through the website is highly recommended.
Assistant Principal, Alison Loxton, said: “We wanted people to still have the opportunity to discuss their options for the future, even with social distancing in place. It’s a key time for those who are finishing their Year 11 studies and waiting for GCSE results, as well as those looking to retrain or start a new qualification.
“This way, people can find out more about the programmes and apprenticeships we have on offer, ask any questions they may have and apply from the comfort of their own home.”
The events are free to attend, and all sessions will be recorded and sent by email to those who booked for future reference.
Buxton & Leek College offers a range of full-time programmes and apprenticeship for school leavers, as well as adult education, part time courses for employers, online courses and GCSEs. For more information visit www.blc.ac.uk or call 0800 074 0099.
