Summary
We are looking to employ a business administrative apprentice to provide admin support to the Trust central team including senior leaders such as CEO (Chief Executive Officer), CFO (Chief Finance Officer) and Deputy CEO. The role will include diary management, updating the website, general admin, finance admin and dealing with enquiries.
Annual wage £11,778
Hours 30 hours per week
Working hours will be general office hours such as 9am to 4/5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility. Your working hours will include college attendance and off-the-job training.

This role provides the apprentice with the opportunity to develop general office skills and gain specific knowledge of the education sector.
What you’ll do at work
Full training and mentoring provided for;
- Diary management including event booking
- Website management and updates
- Social media promotion
- Policy monitoring
- GDPR compliance monitoring and DPIA management
- General admin tasks such as printing, copying and filling
- Publicity and marketing of the trust
- Email distribution of trust information
- Mail merge
- Raise invoices for services provided
- Monitor unpaid sales invoices
- Input invoices for approval
- Bank reconciliation journals (monthly)
- Salary reconciliation checks (monthly)
- Monitor the finance email inbox

Training
Apprentices will be required to attend on-campus activity days every 6 weeks alongside off and on-the-job training.
As part of the role the apprentice will also undertake all statutory training courses such as safeguarding, GDPR, PREVENT etc. Full training will be provided on all admin and finance systems used by the trust.

Your training plan
6-weekly on-campus training days alongside training from the workplace and gular review sessions with your college instructor-mentor who will visit the apprentice in the workplace regularly, completing observations, professional discussions and ensure the apprentice remains on track with their coursework.

Essential qualifications

Other requirements
Please consider how you will travel to work each day, it would be advantageous for the successful applicants to have a full driving licence and access to their own vehicle in order to travel between the ACE offices.
