Buxton and Leek College (a part of the University of Derby) are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2023 with a series of events to showcase our college and how we can help students and employers alike. As we have a rich history and expertise with Hospitality/Catering training and given the challenges of the sector currently we are focusing our efforts in this field. We would like to invite employers of all sizes to our FREE Hospitality Sector Workshop;
Our expert Chef Tutor Matteo Frau discusses all the hospitality employer needs to know about menu creation, design and seasonality to enable the best cost efficiency, range and yield maximisation. With over 20 years of experience in the industry both in training and running his own establishment, Matteo has built up many ‘tricks of the trade’ to share with attendees as well as discussing the relevant training options available to help upskill and retain a first-rate workforce and attract new talent. This will also be an optional tour of our campus facilities. Booking is essential.
