There are many reports currently circulating about a Covid-19 outbreak in Leek, in particular within three local schools. Whilst there have been no confirmed reports of positive cases of any Buxton & Leek College staff or students, we request that all students returning to campus next week following the half-term break do their lateral-flow tests as they have previously been doing.
If any students have run out of tests, we request that they visit a local community test centre before returning to College, or collect a new test kit.
It is a requirement for any student to notify the College / University if they have COVID-19 symptoms, a positive test result or have been in close contact with someone who has had COVID-19. This will enable the College/University to provide them with essential information, offer you support & support the Track & Trace process.
