Join our experienced team and work with an international award-winning music education partnership. Deliver music lessons, ensembles in schools, supplemented by an international touring programme. Your role as an apprentice teacher will encompass all aspects of teaching our curriculum.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Working towards completing the Learning and skills teacher Level 5 apprenticeship standard.
You will join our music teacher apprentice team where we deliver group and ensemble education both in school and as an extra-curricular activity:
1. WCET – Whole Class Ensemble Tuition
2. Ensemble – Teaching a band/choir
3. Lessons – Group Music Lessons
4. Education Administration
5. Customer Communications
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
We deliver all of the statutory training requied to be a teacher, including:
1. Safe-guarding
2. Health & Safety
Apprentices will attend in-person workshops at college approx every 6 weeks, they will be visited in the workplace by a college instructor-mentor and be guided through their apprenticeship by them and their workplace mentor.

Things to consider
Because the role requires travel to various schools around the UK delivering ensembles you would need a driving license and, ideally, access to your own vehicle. We travel internationally as part of our programme so you will need a valid passport. You will be required to complete a DBS check, you will be supported to do this.
