Summary
All aspects of business administration such as reception, taking calls, dealing with email enquiries, document processing, social media and more. We are looking for a friendly and confident person to join our team and be fully supported to complete their apprenticeship. This apprenticeship will especially suit a candidate looking to commence a career in the legal industry.
Annual wage £13,741 – £22,222 dependant on age
Pay review after 6 months
Hours 35 hours per week
35 hours per week, 9am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch break

Work
We are one of the oldest law firms in the UK and serve the community with a range of legal matters such as wills, probate, estate management and more. As part of your role, you will learn all aspects of business operations, including customer care, industry compliance, regulations and terminology.
What you’ll do at work
- Reception duties
- Covering telephone
- Email Enquiries
- Document processing
- Client greeting
- Emailing and posting documentation
- IT system management and implementation
- Social media account development
- Customer care
- Receiving all clients in a friendly and confident manner is a must along with keeping clients comfortable whilst waiting with drinks etc, as is the timely completion of tasks.
- Self-starting and initiative taking is key as would be an interest in the industry and subject area.

Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Your training plan
Training will take place in the workplace alongside 6-weekly on-campus college activity days (college transport is available). You will also have regular workplace visits from your college instructor-mentor who will complete observations, and professional discussions and ensure you remain on track to achieve your qualification.
