Students really get to know the industry with both away visits and a range of engaging guest speakers invited into College, such as the Head of Materials Science at Rolls-Royce.

Every day is different, so whether it’s live briefs and national competitions or learning theory and attending manufacturing events and institutions (such as the UK’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre), you’ll constantly be immersed in the industry.

From understanding statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements to using the latest industry equipment and technologies, our engineering programmes really prepare students for industry or further study.

Many of our former students have progressed into higher education and apprenticeships or have gained employment with local or national companies in the engineering or manufacturing sectors.

You will learn from highly skilled and innovative tutors and industry professionals who have and have experience in aerospace and defence research, and have worked their way up from Apprentice to Engineering Directors and shareholders in their own companies.

Whether you are deciding on your next steps after school, already working in the engineering industry or you would like a career change, we offer a variety of programmes to suit your needs and help you into your dream career.
