HAIR & BEAUTY SUCCESS FOR TWO BLC STUDENTS

Recently, former Buxton & Leek College Level 3 Beauty and Spa student Natalie Mellor has set up her own business (Natural Beauty – Holistic Therapy) on Bath Street in Leek. Natalie is renting the space from another former BLC student, Meg Corden, who completed her Level 1, 2 and 3 Beauty qualifications at the College, and now owns U Beauty.

Lecturer in Hair & Beauty, Jayne Earl, said, “Meg Corden was a very dedicated student during her time studying with BLC. She went out into industry working in salons and spas before opening her own business earlier this year, and her business is expanding due to her hard work, determination, and excellent treatments.

“Natalie also worked to an extremely high standard, producing excellent assignments and performing some amazing, relaxing treatments on our clients. Clients often specifically asked for Natalie as they enjoyed her treatments and professional attitude so much.

“I wish them both every success as their careers progress, and I can’t wait to visit them as a client.”

At Natural Beauty – Holistic Therapy Natalie will offer a range of massages such as Indian head, hot stones, and aromatherapy. She will be using Neal’s Yard Remedies, which are organic and vegan, for all the therapies she offers, so you can look after yourself whilst you look after the planet.

Opening on Tuesday 3rd October, Natalie will be revealing a special introductory offer for all her new Natural Beauty customers on her Facebook page soon.

Buxton & Leek College is incredibly proud of the talent produced on their programmes, and it is lovely to see former students working together as they thrive in their new careers.
