New short courses for adults launched at Buxton & Leek College

Buxton & Leek College have launched several new short courses for adults for those who are looking to learn a new skill or start a new hobby.

The college will be launching new courses throughout September, October and November, at Buxton, Leek and Biddulph including:

Other short courses available include Art, Pottery, French, Italian, Spanish, Complementary Therapy, Counselling, Photography, Creative Writing and Family History.

Sue Baker, Community Learning Co-ordinator at Buxton & Leek College said: “We’re really excited to launch these new short courses for adults following demand from people in the area. There’s been lots of interest in them already and we’re suggesting that people register their interest as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”

Buxton & Leek College also offers adult apprenticeships, Access courses, Higher Education and short industry courses for people looking to enhance their existing skills – such as our Understanding Autism course, Counselling courses, Food Hygiene and skills-based hairdressing, barbering and beauty courses.
